Category:Digital televisionThe present invention relates to a new and distinct cultivar of Hemerocallis plant, botanically known as Hemerocallis ‘KT1106-1’ and will be referred to hereinafter by its cultivar name, ‘KT1106-1’.
The new cultivar of Hemerocallis is an herbaceous perennial grown for container and landscape use. This cultivar was developed and selected in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan and is the result of years of breeding and selection.
The new cultivar was derived from a controlled cross of ‘Lemon Drop’ (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 19,167), the female parent and an unnamed proprietary seedling that was not patented, the male parent. ‘KT1106-1’ was selected as a single unique plant in January of 2009 from the above seedling that is the result of the above cross.
Asexual reproduction of the new cultivar was first accomplished by softwood stem cuttings in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan in July of 2009 by the Inventor. The characteristics of this cultivar have been determined to be stable and are reproduced true to type in successive generations./*
